As environmental testing needs continue to evolve, Oregon Department of Environmental Quality is preparing to expand its analytical capabilities with EPA Method 1633 for fish tissue and surface water analysis, while also exploring automation opportunities for pesticide extraction workflows.
The laboratory currently operates two PromoChrom SPE-03 systems dedicated to PFAS analysis. During a recent visit, our Technical Sales, Des Robb, met with Chemist Emmanuel Musa and Extraction Chemist Amber Webb to review current workflows and discuss upcoming applications.
The team shared that they have been very happy with both the SPE-03 systems and the ongoing support provided by PromoChrom.
We appreciate the opportunity to work with laboratories like Oregon DEQ that continue advancing environmental testing through automated sample preparation.
